The low-lying 52 Jia Wetland boasts a vast swamp, which is ideal for growing rice. It is also home to a wide range of birds. Every winter, migratory birds come to this biologically diverse place to rest and find food. More than a hundred bird species have been documented, including rare birds. If you are a fan of birds, this place is not to be missed!
Other than birds in the winter, 52 Jia Wetland is filled with blooming flowers in the summer. Since 52 Jia’s banks were often damaged by floods, farmers grew a few hundred small-leaved barringtonia trees to hold soil. During the flower season, the blooming trees look like dazzling fireworks at night.
