Located on the northern side of the “Lovers’ Bay” in Su’ao, the Neipi Inspection Station was formerly a military outpost responsible for guarding the southern coastline of Nanfang’ao and carrying out surveillance operations.
Today, the inspection station has completely shed its solemn atmosphere and been transformed into a scenic space combining food and aesthetics. The second-floor viewing terrace offers a sweeping 180-degree panorama and is one of the best vantage points for overlooking Neipi’s crescent-shaped bay and the Pacific Ocean. Through the infusion of local creativity, this once-idle coastal defense facility has been successfully revitalized into a new kind of tourist attraction. The transformation turns what was once a “rigid” building into a resort-like tourism destination filled with leisure vibes.
