Located by Jinshui Highway (known by the local as Romantic Highway) leading to Changren Community of Shuinandong, Golden Waterfall provides a view of a world-renowned wonder, “Yin Yang Sea.” Jinguashi in the old days was a mining site, and therefore the hills here contain a high amount of iron pyrite and enargite. Whenever the waterfall gets washed by rain, chemical reactions take place. With time, the waterfall carries an orange-golden sheen. This is how the waterfall acquired its name, and why it became a famous scenic spot in Jinguashi.
