Longdong Rock Climbing Site is composed of Siling sandstones resulting from a fifty-million-year-old old Yangzi Plate deposits. It is not only geologists’ paradise. For the solid rocks it has, the place is popular among the most outstanding rock climbers in Taiwan. The nearly vertical rock walls are magnificent, and their attractive surface texture stands out and out by a vast blue sea.
