Beyond Nature・Northeast Coast redefines the way we experience the region through two parallel journeys.

We follow a small family of three and a pair of close friends—each traveling with their own rhythm. The family’s atmosphere is warm, filled with laughter and a child’s wide-eyed wonder; the friends move lightly and freely, sharing an effortless, intimate camaraderie. The Northeast Coast responds with its own energy: coastlines unfolding like painted scrolls, sculptural rock formations shaped by the land itself, tide pools pulsing with natural vitality, and villages woven with layers of local life and culture.

Rather than relying on traditional narration, the film embraces fluid visual storytelling. Through rhythmic editing, aerial perspectives, ambient sound, and natural light, the camera follows the travelers’ pace, breathing with them as it moves—quick, slow, still, attentive. Every smile, every stretch of landscape becomes part of the narrative.

This is a journey without scripted guidance; instead, it invites viewers to move alongside the travelers, feeling the dynamic pulse of the mountains and sea through their own senses.

Breathe Island・Guishan Island unfolds around a serendipitous encounter, guiding viewers into the island’s dreamlike landscapes and layered cultural depths.

Told through the eyes of a young woman, the story begins as she sets foot on Guishan Island and unexpectedly meets a traveler who is just as captivated by its allure. As they explore with quiet intention, their steps begin to sync with the island’s rhythm: aerial shots capture the drifting mist and silhouette of the volcanic cone; close-ups reveal the island’s textured ridges; and the cultural scenes and people surrounding them form a gentle tapestry of life. In this journey where nature and culture intertwine, they take in the scenery—and gradually, each other.

With a visual core of freshness and poetic beauty, the film embraces fluid editing and soft, expressive camerawork to depict the journey with both calmness and sincerity. The shutter moves lightly like sea breeze; their pace flows gently like the tide. Through the island’s own breathing, the images open naturally, and an unspoken connection begins to flow between the travelers.

There is no fixed path in this journey—everything unfolds with the travelers’ own rhythm. In every beam of sunlight, every breath, every backward glance, Guishan Island reveals its soft, unforgettable charm.

Play Unbound・Northeast Coast is a travel short film crafted with an international visual language, inviting viewers to experience the Northeast Coast in a freer, more relaxed way.

Following a foreign couple on a one-day cycling trip along a scenic biking route, the camera traces their path as they ride through coastal scenery, lush mountain views, and vibrant neighborhoods. They pause to unwind at seaside cafés before diving into the next unexpected landscape. Through immersive scenarios and story-driven pacing, each shot uses refined visuals and dynamic design to awaken the viewer’s senses.

Built around a chill aesthetic, the film uses match cuts to create seamless flow, dynamic transitions to highlight each location, and upbeat music blended with natural soundscapes to form an easy, immersive travel atmosphere.

In just one minute, the film distills the fun and vitality of the Northeast Coast—showing the region while making viewers feel as if they’re right there enjoying it.
