Promise of Sustainability
Northeast and Yilan Coast National Scenic Area Headquarters (NEYC) has obeyed GSTC global sustainable standards since 2016, and put the 100 criteria of Green Destinations into practice. NEYC keeps on communicating with other green destinations around the world and improving sustainability action plans year by year.
In 2020, NEYC initiated “NEYC Business DMO”(Destination Marketing Organization) for helping local business stakeholders to work together and promote GSTC sustainability standards through diverse tourism experiences in five themes, which are “Green Economy”, “LOHAS Sports”, “Marine Leisure”, “Livable Life” and “Culture & Education”. We sincerely hope that the tourists and local stakeholders will work together with us to protect eco environment, preserve local culture and bring the benefit to local communities in North East and Yilan Coast Area of Taiwan.
