The Dali Visitor Center is located at 118.5k, Coastal Highway. It not only showcases Dali’s history and culture but also has an informative e-system that shows the tourist destinations in the Northeast Coast and Yilan. Guided tours are provided, too.

There is a screening room with an 80-seat capacity in the center. Every day, from 10 am to 4 pm, one film is screened every hour. There are four different films in total, “Traveling through Mountains and Seas,” “Idyllic Turtle Island,” “Loving Mountains and Seas,” and “Geologies of the Northeast Coast.” Group visitors are encouraged to reserve in advance.

There is a replicated Tiger Inscription at the square beside the center’s entrance. Visitors are free to try stone rubbing with it. At the parking lot, there is a giant stone calligraphy that says “Grandest Sight of Lanyang.” It was written by General He Ying-chin of the Nationalist Army.
