The organizer hopes to raise the public’s awareness and that more people can join force to conserve ocean ecology.

Guishan Island will reopen to tourists again on March 1. Each year, the island is closed from December to the next February, due to heavy northeast monsoons. This provides a chance for the island’s nature to rest sand get ready for the next spring. The Administration looks forward to keep developing sustainable tourism at Guishan Island.
