MEMO To conquer the valley, be prepared. You must be able to walk a long distance and bring enough food and water.

By train: Take TRA and get off in Toucheng. The museum is 2.5 km away. Walk or take a local bus.
By bus: Take Kuo-kuang Bus 1877 (Yuanshan, Taipei – Nanggang – Wushi Port) and get off at Wushi Port. Jiaoxi Hot Spring

By train: Take a train of the North-Link Line and get off in Jiaoxi.
By bus: Take Capital Bus No. 1572 (Taipei Bus Terminal – Luodong) or No. 1880 (Keelung – Yilan) that drives through national highways only. You can also take Kamalan Bus No. 1915 (Banqiao – Yilan). Get off in Jiaoxi. Take Kuo-kuang Bus No. 1811 (Taipei – Fulong – Luodong), No. 1740 (Yilan – Fulong – Shuangxi) or No. 1766 (Nanfangao – Toucheng) that drives through several city centers. Get off in Jiaoxi.
MEMO Skipping a natural hot spring bath in Jiaoxi just like not trying some Lanyang snacks when you go to Yilan. Without doing so, your trip won’t be complete. The hot spring bathhouses in Jiaoxi are quite comprehensive. Even leisure facilities and beauty SPAs are provided.

MEMO Don’t forget to put on mosquito repellent before you go. There are many tiny mosquitoes along the hiking trail and in the bushes beside the trail.

From the back of the train station, take Capital Bus again, No. 241 or 261. In about 20 minutes you’ll reach the Dongshan River Water Park. 2.Take Kamalan Bus from Taipei Main Station or MRT Technology Building. Get off at Luodong Top and walk to the back of the Luodong Train Station (Zhandong Road). Take Capital Bus No. 241 or 261. In about 20 minutes you’ll reach the Dongshan River Water Park. 3.Take a train of the North-Link Line. Get off in Luodong. From the back of the Luodong Train Station, take Taiwan Tourist Shuttle (Dongshan River Route) and get off at the Dongshan River Water Park.
MEMO There is a mosaic picture zone jointly accomplished by 800 children in Yilan. The kids used shells, tiles, potteries and marbles to make these interesting artworks.
